About the Position

The Project Assistant will work under the supervision of Dr. R. Gopinath on a funded research project aimed at converting hazardous weed species into eco-friendly bio-plastic materials. This role offers valuable exposure to research methodology, project management, and advanced engineering practices. The position is temporary and renewable annually subject to satisfactory performance. Additionally, selected candidates will be eligible to register for a Ph.D. programme at Anna University, Chennai, during their tenure.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

Candidates must possess First Class qualification in any of the following:

• M.E. (Master of Engineering) in Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering
• M.E. in Production Engineering
• M.E. in Composites/Polymer Science and Engineering
• M.E. in Engineering Design
• M. Tech (Master of Technology) in any of the above disciplines
• M. Tech in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university
• M.Sc (Chemistry)
• M.Sc (Polymer Science)
• M.Sc (BioTechnology)
• B.Tech (Composites)

All qualifications must be from a recognized university or equivalent institution.
