Position Details: Senior Engineer (E-III) - Job Code US01
Essential Qualifications
- Full-time B.E / B.Tech in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering, OR
- Full-time M.E / M.Tech in Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering
- Minimum First Class from AICTE approved College/Institute or recognized University
- Important: Discipline/specialization in Degree Certificate must match exactly with prescribed discipline
Post-Qualification Experience Required
- For B.E/B.Tech candidates: Minimum 4 years relevant industry/defence laboratory experience
- For M.E/M.Tech candidates: Minimum 2 years relevant industry/defence laboratory experience
- Experience as on 01.02.2026 (Cut-off date)
Essential Experience Required
- Design of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) including modelling, structural analysis and thermal analysis
- Design of UAV subsystems, prototyping and evaluation
- System Engineering of Aerial Vehicles
- Design process of composite & metal structures including manufacturing and structural testing
- Design of Control systems for Aerial vehicles
- Thermal Analysis of Aerospace Structures
- Experience in aero-modelling/hardware projects
- Schematic Diagram generation, PCB design and testing
- Interfacing with evolving product requirements and airframe design revisions
Desirable Experience
- End-to-end solution development from understanding high-level system requirements
- Planning design activities and meeting functionalities through multi-staged processes
- Design document reviewing
- Design & Analysis of Guidance systems and autopilot for aerial vehicles
- Knowledge of Communication Systems
- Programming experience in C/C++, Python, ROS, ML & AI
- Simulator Development for Terrain generation/Path Planning
Job Responsibilities
- Design of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) including modelling, structural analysis and thermal analysis
- Design of UAV Subsystems, prototyping and evaluation
- Responsible for Schematic Diagram generation, PCB design and testing
- Project documentation as per BEL's standards
- Contributing to product development and innovation initiatives
