Essential Qualification
- Master's Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point-scale system) from an Indian University or equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, OR
- Must be awarded a Ph.D. degree in Mathematics in accordance with University Grants Commission (Minimum standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments
