Job Profile & Responsibilities

  • Conduct field operations related to rice cultivation and irrigation management
  • Monitor and implement Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) irrigation techniques at -15 cm water level
  • Manage field trials for dry and wet direct seeded HT (herbicide tolerant) rice systems
  • Record field observations and data collection as per project requirements
  • Maintain field equipment and irrigation infrastructure
  • Coordinate with research team on field activities
