Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification: B.Tech degree in any Engineering discipline from recognized institution
    • Mining Engineering
    • Computer Science & Engineering
    • Data Science
    • AI/ML Engineering
    • Environmental Engineering
    • Earth Sciences
    • Or related engineering discipline
  • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in:
    • Programming languages (Python, C++, etc.)
    • Machine Learning algorithms and applications
    • Data analysis and visualization
  • Academic Performance: Minimum 70% marks or equivalent CGPA throughout academics

Desirable Qualifications

  • Graduates in Engineering and Sciences with demonstrated work in:
    • GitHub repositories
    • Kaggle competitions/projects
    • Any other relevant portfolio
  • Demo/proof of previous work or projects
  • Publications in relevant areas
  • Prior research/internship experience in AI/ML
  • Experience with data collection and field work

Job Profile and Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

  • Field Work: Conduct field investigations and site surveys for mine inspection
  • Data Collection: Collect health and safety data from mining sites
  • Data Analysis: Analyze collected data using statistical and ML methods
  • Graph/Visualization: Create graphs and visualizations of analyzed data
  • Software Development: Design and develop software modules for:
    • Slope stability analysis
    • Air quality assessment/monitoring
  • AI Implementation: Implement AI-enabled solutions for mine inspection
  • Risk Indices Development: Contribute to development of risk assessment indices
