Scope of Work
Consultant (Energy Economist) Responsibilities:
- Transmission Planning Support: Support in long-term and medium-term transmission planning, including review of perspective plans, rolling plans and proposals for strengthening transmission network
- Renewable Energy Integration: Support in planning for renewable energy integration, including assessment of grid readiness and planning for energy storage systems
- Regulatory & Policy Support: Support in regulatory and policy matters, including analysis of applicable regulations and tariff frameworks
- Financial Analysis: Support in financial and commercial analysis including cost-benefit analysis and tariff-related principles
- Institutional Support: Assistance in improving internal processes, preparation of MIS, reports and coordination with concerned departments
- Reporting: Preparation of notes, presentations, meeting documents and progress reports for management review
Consultant (Power Sector) Responsibilities:
- Energy Policy Support: Expertise in power sector planning and energy policy development
- Renewable Energy Platform Support: Support for renewable energy integration and platform development
- Project Evaluation: Evaluation of energy projects and feasibility assessments
- Stakeholder Coordination: Technical coordination with Government agencies, consultants and stakeholders
