Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• Must be an officer of any Major Port of India
• Must possess prescribed qualifications and experience as per position requirements
• Overall grading in Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) must not be below "Very Good"
• APARs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25) required

Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted by the Administrative Port on or before 09-03-2026:

• Certified copies of APARs for the last 5 years (2020-21 to 2024-25), duly attested by an officer not below the rank of Deputy Head of Department on each page
• Statement of APAR Availability showing year-wise availability of APARs and grading duly signed by the Head of Department/Secretary. If APAR for a particular year is not available, this should be clearly mentioned
• All application forms and related documents properly compiled and organized

Selection Process

• Selection by merit based on overall APAR grading for the last 5 years
• Minimum acceptable APAR grading: Very Good
• Evaluation based on performance and merit
• Final selection and appointment as per Government of India rules

Job Profile

As Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil) in Mumbai Port Authority, the selected officers will be responsible for:
