Vacancies are available across 53 different academic departments and specializations including:
Mathematics (Associate Professor, Assistant Professor)
Art Education (Professor, Assistant Professor)
Science Education (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor)
Posts are reserved for Unreserved (UR), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories as per Government of India norms.
Eligibility Criteria
For PROFESSOR Position
Option A: Ph.D. degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline with minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and research score of 120. Minimum 10 years teaching experience as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor or equivalent research experience at University/National Level Institutions with successful guidance of doctoral candidates.
Option B: Outstanding professional with Ph.D. degree from any academic institution or industry with 10 years experience making significant contribution to knowledge in concerned/allied/relevant discipline.
For ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR Position
Good academic record with Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant disciplines
Master's Degree with minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade)
Minimum 8 years teaching and/or research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor in University, College, Accredited Research Institution/industry with minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and research score of 75
For ASSISTANT PROFESSOR Position
Option A: Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in concerned/relevant/allied subject from Indian University or accredited foreign university. Must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar test. Ph.D. degree holders exempted from NET/SLET/SET as per conditions.
Option B: Ph.D. degree from foreign university/institution ranked among top 500 in World University Ranking (QS/THE/ARWU).
For DEPUTY LIBRARIAN Position
Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with minimum 55% marks
8 years experience as Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian
Evidence of innovative library services including ICT integration
Desirable: Ph.D. in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science/Archives
For ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN Position
Master's Degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with minimum 55% marks
Consistently good academic record with library computerization knowledge
Must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or similar test, or Ph.D. degree with specified conditions

Selection Process
For Assistant Professor: Up to 50 candidates (category-wise) for first vacancy and 5 candidates for every additional vacancy will be called for interview based on merit/rank. Minimum academic score of 60 required.
For Professor & Associate Professor: Up to 10 candidates (category-wise) for first vacancy and 5 for additional vacancies called for interview based on merit following UGC guidelines.
