Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

• 12th (Medical) Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
• Four-year Nursing Course from a recognized Board or University
• Must be a registered nurse with valid nursing council registration

Desirable Experience

• Two (2) years of working experience in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
• Experience in cancer care and pediatric patient management
• Knowledge of patient coordination and education

Job Profile & Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

• Patient Counselling: Provide comprehensive counselling and support to pediatric leukemia patients and their families
• Patient Coordination: Coordinate patients being sent to other research centres as part of the multi-centre project
• Centre Coordination: Co-ordinate and oversee work being conducted at other centres that are supervised by PGIMER in the IS-ALL project
• Staff Education: Conduct training and education of nursing staff at other participating centres
• Data Management: Assist in maintaining project records and documentation
• Patient Care: Provide nursing support and care to enrolled patients in the pediatric oncology setting
