Desirable Knowledge & Work Experience

  • Good knowledge and proficiency in computer applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Field work experience in forestry research with knowledge and experience in identification of trees, shrubs, and herbs in forest areas
  • Measurement expertise of inventory parameters of forest vegetation
  • Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), particularly handling of GPS devices

  • Physical fitness for extensive travel and trekking in mountainous/plain regions
  • Research articles published in recognized journals
