Eligibility Criteria - Essential Qualifications

For Professor:

• PhD degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline
• Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
• Total research score of 120 as per UGC criteria
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research experience at university level
• Evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidates

For Associate Professor:

• Good academic record with PhD degree in concerned/allied/relevant discipline
• Master's degree with at least 55% marks
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor level
• Minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
• Total research score of 75 as per UGC criteria

For Assistant Professor:

• Master's degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject
• Must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent
• Alternatively, PhD degree from foreign university ranked in top 500 by QS, THE, or ARWU

For Deputy Librarian:

• Master's degree in Library Science/Information Science with 55%+ marks
• 8 years experience as Assistant University Librarian/College Librarian
• Evidence of innovative library services with ICT integration
• PhD in Library Science or Information Science (desirable)

For Assistant Librarian:

• Master's degree in Library Science, Information Science or Documentation Science with 55%+ marks
• Good academic record with computerization knowledge
• Must have cleared NET/SLET/SET or equivalent

• Shortlisting of candidates based on academic score and merit
• Interview round for shortlisted candidates
• Verification of original documents at the time of interview
• For Assistant Professor: Upto 50 candidates (category-wise) for first vacancy and 5 for each additional vacancy will be called
• For Professor/Associate Professor: Upto 10 candidates (category-wise) for first vacancy and 5 for each additional vacancy will be called

• Register with valid email ID and mobile number
• Fill the online application form with all required details
• Upload scanned recent/colour passport size photograph, signature, and relevant documents
• Pay the application fee online (if applicable)
• Submit the completed application before 20-02-2026 at 5:00 PM
• If applying for multiple posts, submit separate applications with requisite fee for each post

• Only Indian nationals can apply
• Candidates must meet eligibility criteria as on the closing date of application
• Registration is provisional; eligibility will be verified at interview
• PWD candidates with disability less than 40% will not be considered
• OBC (NCL) candidates must submit valid caste certificate and Non-Creamy Layer certificate
• EWS candidates must submit valid EWS certificate
• All original certificates must be produced at the time of interview
• Shortlisted non-local candidates will be reimbursed train fare up to 3rd AC
• All certificates in languages other than English/Hindi must be translated
