  • Postgraduate Degree in Law (LLM) from a reputed University/Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India

  • Must be registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council of India under the Advocates Act, 1961

Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years of experience after completing Bachelor's Degree in Law, OR
  • Minimum 2 years of experience after completing Master's Degree in Law
  • The experience must include:

  • • Arbitration matters
  • • Right to Information (RTI) applications and service-related matters
  • • Drafting and interpreting legal documents

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist and report to the Assistant Registrar (Legal)
  • Prepare, maintain, and monitor pending court cases
  • Assist in discussions with Advocates and Legal Counsel for finalizing agreements
  • Prepare and review Public Works Contracts (PWC), Writ Petitions, Appeals, Rejoinders, Show-Cause Replies, and Affidavits
  • Draft, interpret, and vet legal documents including Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and other contracts
  • Liaise with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) attorneys
  • Handle Intellectual Property Rights filings including patents and copyrights
  • Visit Tribunals, High Courts, and other courts as required to advise the Institute on legal matters
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Institute Authority
