Eligibility Criteria - Domain-wise

1. Young Professional (Securities Market Operations) - 40 Posts:

  • Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management with Finance specialization from recognized university (60% aggregate), OR
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / Company Secretary (CS) / Cost Management Accountant (CMA) with 55% marks, OR
  • Successfully completed all 3 levels of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) course from CFA Institute (USA)
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in financial sector after completing qualification

2. Young Professional (Law) - 13 Posts:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law from recognized and reputed university with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in corporate/securities laws after completing Bachelors' Degree in Law/LLM
  • Preference for candidates with work experience in financial or investment environment

3. Young Professional (Research) - 4 Posts:

  • Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management with Finance specialization, Economics, Commerce, Financial Economics, Business Economics, or Applied Statistics/Econometrics from recognized university (60% aggregate)
  • Preference for candidates with PhD in Economics/Econometrics/Finance/Commerce with focus on financial markets
  • For PG qualified: Minimum 1 year research/work experience in financial markets, corporate finance, macroeconomic theory, corporate governance, financial institutions or international finance
  • For PhD qualified: Work experience not mandatory
  • Required Skills: Knowledge of statistical software

4. Young Professional (Information Technology) - 29 Posts:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Information Technology/Computer Science from recognized university (60% aggregate), OR
  • MCA / MSc (IT) / MSc (Computer Science) / MBA (Systems) / MBA (Analytics) / M.Tech (CS/IT) / MS (CS/IT) or equivalent (60% aggregate)
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in software development (programming) or cyber security
  • Required Skills (depending on experience):
  •   - Programming: JAVA (JSP/J2EE with Spring/Hibernate), Angular, SAP-ABAP, Python (with ML frameworks), or BPM
  •   - Database: DB2/ORACLE/PostgreSQL/MySQL
  •   - Cyber Security: Knowledge of global best practices, corrective measures for cyber-attacks, security policy implementation
  •   - Additional: ML algorithms, Deep Learning, NLP, statistical concepts, Digital Forensic analysis or OSINT frameworks

5. Young Professional (Rajbasha) - 5 Posts:

  • Master's Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation with English at Bachelor's level, OR
  • Master's Degree in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at Bachelor's level, OR
  • Master's Degree in both English and Hindi/Hindi Translation from recognized university
  • Minimum 1 year work experience in Rajbasha including knowledge of Hindi typing

  • 3-Step Selection Process:

  • For IT Domain Additional Factors: Relevant programming certifications (OCJP), valid GATE scores, rankings in coding competitions, bug bounty entries, hackathon participation, zero-day vulnerabilities reported
  • Step 2: Preliminary Interview - Virtual mode interview
  • Step 3: Final Interview - Virtual mode interview with ID proof verification
  • Interview Weightage: 100% - Technical & Professional proficiency (65%), Personality & Communication & Competency (35%)
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 60% for UR/EWS candidates; 50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates
  • Medically Fit: Selected candidates must be medically fit as per SEBI Medical Fitness Standards

Salary & Remuneration

  • Monthly Stipend: INR 70,000 (All Inclusive)
  • Taxation: Income tax and other applicable taxes deducted at source
  • Accommodation: Unfurnished shared accommodation may be provided for YPs not based in Mumbai (subject to availability). No additional payment for non-availability
  • Travel Allowance: Local Conveyance, halting, boarding and incidental allowances applicable for official travel (subject to approval)
  • Leaves: 18 days per year (1.5 days per completed month on pro-rata basis)
  • Additional Leaves Deduction: Additional leaves availed will result in stipend deduction
  • Public Holidays: As per SEBI Head Office practice
  • Working Hours: Same as SEBI office timings. YPs may be required to work beyond office hours/weekends/public holidays without extra stipend
